Hi! My name is Adam and I currently work at a medium sized non-profit in the health industry. I’ve had the pleasure of being able to work both with large and small companies and organizations across different fields and domains, both as a staff member, and an independent consultant.
Being able to work with companies in the past like Best Buy, Costco, Staples, Sony, and others in e-commerce and retail, as well as companies ranging from Travelers Insurance to The Salvation Army--they've all helped the way I look at systems, code, architectures, and projects--just like the startups I've worked at, and the smaller community driven projects and organizations I've been involved in throughout my career.
The journey has been fun and diverse and I'm in a continual state of learning and collaboration (like a project with Stanford, and leading out my organization's Azure Cloud Working Group).
One of the sites I started was in 2002 called superdotnet, and while not existing today was my first foray into tech writing, and was a part of the Microsoft .NET Related Communities Program and chosen as an ASP Experts site of the week.
In addition to writing from a general technology perspective, I also write from a POV of being Asian American, Vietnamese American, BIPOC, Transracial and International Adoptee, and the thought that we need to make sure from an IT standpoint that we’re about people first, and that who we are often drives what we do and how we do it.
Opinions and content here are my own and not affiliated with any company, organization, or group.
I think that’s about it for this one then. #InTheBooks
